Maintenance/Repairs Assistant

Your new company
An established Housing Association based in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your new role

• Administer and coordinate day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance requests
• Act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal teams
• Raise and manage work orders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
• Monitor progress of repairs and follow up on outstanding works
• Liaise with contractors regarding job progress, access, and invoice queries
• Support planned, cyclical, and compliance-related maintenance programmes
• Assist with arranging inspections and ensuring access is secured within required timescales
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service across all communication channels

What you''ll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a Housing Association or social housing environment
• Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance processes
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Homemaster (or similar housing management systems) is highly desirable.
