Maintenance Technician

Valenti Recruitment are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a well-established, highly automated manufacturing site based in Knutsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a clean, organised and forward-thinking environment where all maintenance is carried out during the day — no nights, no shifts.

The Role

You will be working as part of a small, experienced maintenance team, carrying out:

• Electrical fault finding on automated machinery
• Breakdown response and preventative maintenance
• Installation work across industrial equipment
• Working independently on a range of electrical tasks
• Supporting continuous improvement across the site

What We’re Looking For (Essential)

• 17th or 18th Edition qualified
• Strong fault-finding experience within an industrial environment
• Experience working with three-phase systems (distribution boards, SWA, isolators, contactors)
• Knowledge of industrial machinery (motors, pumps, sensors, heaters)
• Confident working independently

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience with inverters and servo drives
• PLC knowledge / programming
• Panel building experience
• Basic electronics knowledge (analogue/digital)
• Soldering / PCB repair
• IT literacy (software installs, backups etc.)
• Minor mechanical skills
