Utilities Engineer / Maintenance Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Utilities Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment in Manchester. The role involves both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of site utilities and engineering systems, working closely with operations to ensure production demands are consistently met and downtime is minimised.
This role would be ideal for a qualified engineer or technician with a background in facilities or utilities maintenance within an industrial or FMCG setting. Key Responsibilities
Provide reactive support and planned maintenance across steam, air, water, and chemical systems.
Monitor and maintain utility service levels to support site production.
Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, including participation in on-call rota after training.
Carry out fault finding, inspections, and installations in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support environmental compliance through regular monitoring and reporting.
