Maintenance Technician - North London N1 - start asapWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work within a professional workplace environment in North London (N1).Start: ASAPHours: 45 hours per weekPAYE: 20.00 per hourUmbrella PAYE: 26.03 per hourResponsibilities:Carry out day-to-day building and workplace maintenanceComplete reactive repairs and basic planned maintenanceCarry out basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairsMaintain furniture, fixtures and fittingsIdentify faults and resolve maintenance issues efficientlyCarry out regular workplace inspections and report defectsLiaise with contractors and other facilities teams when requiredRespond to workplace maintenance requests and provide good customer serviceKeep the workplace safe, functional and presentableUpdate maintenance records and workplace management systemsRequirements:Previous building maintenance, facilities or relevant trade experienceBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systemsGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple tasksComfortable using digital/workplace management systemsHands-on, reliable and professional approachTech-People are a leading recruitment business within MandE and Construction.
