About the Role
Working closely with the Premises & Compliance Manager, you''ll help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. From planned maintenance and repairs to health and safety compliance and site improvements, you''ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality facilities for staff and students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites
- Performing building repairs, refurbishments, and grounds maintenance
- Supporting health and safety compliance, including fire alarm testing and legionella management
- Recording maintenance and compliance activities using our CAFM system
- Assisting with site development projects and facility improvements
- Helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors
What We''re Looking For
We''re seeking someone who is practical, reliable, and takes ownership of their work.
You''ll ideally have:
- Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or site management
- Skills in electrics, plumbing, construction, or a related trade
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Experience carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
- Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
