Position Summary:To undertake maintenance activities and redelivery repairs on a variety of rolling stock vehicles (Diesel Multiple Units (DMU in accordance with maintenance procedures and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and corrective maintenance activities Perform component inspections, assessments and exchanges as specified in the maintenance instructions. Repairing oil and coolant leaks. Renewal of fixings and fastenings. Pipework repairs. Vehicle decal replacement. Component removal and replacement Window replacement. Interior component renewal and refurbishment. Complete all work safely and in accordance with railway industry standards and company procedures. Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, inspection records and sign-off sheets provided. Identify defects and report any issues that fall outside the scope of the maintenance package.
