Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Aylesford, KentJob Type: Full-time, PermanentShift Pattern: Rotating / Site-basedWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team in a busy manufacturing/production environment. This role is crucial for maintaining, repairing, and improving both production and facility equipment, ensuring compliance with current legislation, health and safety standards, and site maintenance systems. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting production operations.Day-to-day of the role:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine equipment checks.Diagnose faults and respond promptly to site breakdowns.Perform reactive and proactive maintenance to minimise downtime.Support production teams as required to meet operational demands.Complete weekly site inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.Carry out equipment installations and modifications in line with current regulations.Ensure compliance with food hygiene and food safety standards at all times.Liaise with contractors and chaperone visitors when required.Maintain high standards of housekeeping across work areas and workshops.Monitor spare parts stock levels and report requirements.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Ensure clear communication and effective handovers between shifts.Undertake any additional reasonable duties as required.Required Skills and ..... full job details .....
