The role involves maintaining, repairing, and improving both production and facility equipment in line with current legislation, health and safety standards, and site maintenance systems. You''ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine equipment checksDiagnose faults and respond promptly to site breakdownsPerform reactive and proactive maintenance to minimise downtimeSupport production teams as required to meet operational demandsComplete weekly site inspections and maintain accurate maintenance recordsCarry out equipment installations and modifications in line with current regulationsEnsure compliance with food hygiene and food safety standards at all timesLiaise with contractors and chaperone visitors when requiredMaintain high standards of housekeeping across work areas and workshopsMonitor spare parts stock levels and report requirementsParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesEnsure clear communication and effective handovers between shiftsUndertake any additional reasonable duties as requiredSkills and Experience RequiredRelevant engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 2 or 3 ..... full job details .....
