Maintenance Technician

We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician for a Student Accommocation block in East London.

Location: East London

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08.30am-4.30pm

Salary: -35,000 per annum

• To prioritise and manage all work orders and the allocation of maintenance tasks to ensure these are closed off in a timely manner.
• To be responsible for the planning of all the statutory and routine maintenance in accordance with the Property Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• To respond to reactive maintenance in accordance with the SLA and to keep students and customers aware and informed of the status of repairs.
• To carry out repair duties across the site as instructed by the Property Manager or landlord.
• To check the quality and standards of work are to a high standard and in accordance with the Property SLA.
• To participate in a call-out rota as directed by the General Manager or landlord.
• Identify where specialist input is required and co-ordinate the timely attendance of alternative suppliers/contractors.
• To manage the sign in and attendance of contractors and that permits for working are in place including utility companies who need to access the site to read the meters
• At all times follow the Property key handling procedures in respect of sign out and return
