Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Essex/Hertfordshire Border
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: 4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern (Days & Nights, 7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm-7:00am)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial facility on the Essex/Hertfordshire border. What you''ll do:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across commercial plumbing and building services systems.
• Complete routine tap temperature monitoring and plumbing maintenance, including repairs to toilets, taps, pipework, valves, sanitaryware, and associated water systems.
• Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults, carrying out first-line repairs to ensure minimal disruption to site operations.
• Assist with general building services maintenance and support the wider engineering team where required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

• Previous experience within commercial plumbing or building services maintenance.
• Good understanding of PPMs, reactive maintenance, and commercial plumbing systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.

• £42,000 per annum salary
