This role offers an outstanding opportunity for career development as extensive, specialist training is offered from day one. The Mechanical Maintenance team undertake a wide variety of tasks in a highly regulated sector, working to the highest industry standards. This position is day shift only, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, Core duties include: Mechanical maintenance on a variety of process plants including: pumps, vessels, separation equipment, heat exchangers, hydraulic /pneumatic and piping systems. Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings and circuit diagrams. Basic electrical work on such items as electric motors and starter circuits. Complete mechanical assembly and pipe preparation tasks. Valve repair/ refurbishment including pressure testing. Undertake accurate CMMS report writing and record-keeping, ensuring an auditable closed-loop system.
