Experienced Maintenance Technician required to work within the moulding team for a Global manufacturer at their Plymouth based site. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the production of plastic components using injection moulding machines and will come from an Engineering background coupled with previous injection moulding experience. Key Responsibilities: Operating injection moulding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. Troubleshooting any issues with the machines or processes through root cause analysis and technical fault finding (Mechanical and Electrical). Completion of routine planned maintenance - Weekly, Monthly and 6 Monthly. Assisting PM Technician with annual maintenance tasks on machines. Working safely and adhering to all health and safety regulations and internal procedures. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste (e.g. 5S, Gemba Activities, Kaizen). Collaborating with all members of shift core team including Operators, Quality Technicians, Engineers and Shift Leaders. Documenting production data and maintaining accurate records through SAP.
