Maintenance Technician
About MotionTech MotionTech designs, installs and maintains conveyor, robotics and automated storage systems for logistics, food and beverage, and retail sites across the UK. Founded in 1997 and now more than 150 people strong, they support equipment through its full lifecycle, from installation through to day-to-day maintenance. This role is based at a major new client site in Hemel Hempstead. The role You''ll report to MotionTech''s Maintenance Supervisor on site, keeping the client''s automation running to the daily operational plan. The role covers planned maintenance and reactive fixes, logged through the site''s Computerised Maintenance System, working closely with the client''s operational team. What you''ll do You''ll: Keep the automation running to hit the daily operational plan Carry out planned preventative maintenance using the Computerised Maintenance System Respond to reactive faults quickly to keep downtime to a minimum Log spares, time, and machine or fault information on the CMMS Maintain good housekeeping across all automated areas Follow all health and safety requirements on site Work solo or alongside the wider maintenance team, depending on the task What you''ll bring Essential: A basic understanding of engineering, mechanical or electrical, from work, training or a genuine interest in the field Comfortable working a shift pattern that includes early and late shifts, Sunday to Friday Useful, not essential: Experience using a Computerised Maintenance ..... full job details .....
