Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)Location: CardiffSalary: £43,000 - £45,000 + BonusShift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm)A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cardiff is currently looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical bias.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking company, offering a great shift pattern, competitive salary, and the chance to work within a modern manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtimeFault finding and troubleshooting on PLC-controlled machinerySupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performanceWork closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operationsMaintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health and safety standardsKey Requirements:Electrically biased with relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)Proven experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environmentStrong PLC fault finding and troubleshooting experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementGood communication skills and a flexible ..... full job details .....
