Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business in Birmingham to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional to play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Maintenance Technician - Electrical or Mechanical Biased Location: BirminghamShift Pattern: Continental ShiftsSalary £40-45k (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician Carry out planned preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance across plant equipment and site facilities.Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs to minimise downtime.Operate and develop preventative maintenance schedules and systems.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide technical support to production teams.Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings and documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.About YouTo be successful in this Maintenance Technicians role, you will ideally have:A recognised electrical / mechanical apprenticeship and relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, ONC, HNC, or equivalent).Strong electrical / mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Experience working with PLCs, including fault-finding and interrogation.Previous experience carrying out ..... full job details .....
