Maintenance Technician 55,000 Salary Company Benefits Scheme The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a mechanically biased engineering focus, working across a range of production and power-generation equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining machinery, responding to breakdowns, supporting production and helping to improve the reliability and efficiency of equipment across the site. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across production and power-generation operations. Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and fully operational. Maintain and repair a variety of automated machinery, robotics and conveyor systems. Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Support the reliable operation of machinery used within manufacturing and renewable energy production. Respond to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimise downtime. Work closely with production teams to resolve machinery problems and assist with machine setups. Provide technical guidance and training to production colleagues where appropriate. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, quality and safety.
