Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician on behalf of our fantastic client based in Ascot. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious estate with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out general repairs to the premises.
- To carry out stock control, account for goods and materials held is stock for future use and keeping the Maintenance Team Leader informed of any materials requiring ordering.
- To manufacture and install carpentry and joinery items.
- To undertake bricklaying, concreting, plastering and roof repairs and other similar maintenance work.
- To carry out duties on days of events as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally hold a City & Guilds in bricklaying, carpentry, or a similar trade qualification.
- Significant knowledge and experience of buildings maintenance and construction.
- Be able to work at times with little or no supervision and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Professional appearance.
- Proactive and flexible attitude and a strong team player.
- Be able to lift heavy items, using equipment provided where needed.
- Hold a current, valid Driving Licence.
