Salary of £46,500 and additional 10% Shift Allowance (£4,650)

What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

  • You’ll use your skills to maintain mechanical, electrical and diagnostic equipment, making sure health and safety is the priority. To ensure maximum availability of equipment you will run a preventative maintenance and cleaning program whilst ensuring that best practice is applied at our Material Recycling Facility (MRF) in Avonmouth.

This is a Shift Work in a 3 week rotation, this role is Monday - Friday with no on call.  
Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00

Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00

Week 3: 22:00 - 06:00

  • You will need a BTEC level 3, ONC/NVQ (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 
  • A Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH) would be helpful but isn’t essential, as this can be gained.
  • You have worked in a maintenance role in a similar operation and dealt with continuous production. You will have a deep understanding of equipment such as motors and conveyor systems.
  • No minimum years experience, we are looking for hardworking and team focused individuals
  • You need to be comfortable working under pressure and quickly to respond to breakdowns.
