Multiskilled Maintenance and Service TechnicianSalary: Up to £36,000 per annum Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm Location: Student accommodation site Contract: Full-time On-call rota: One week in every four Vehicle: Company vehicle providedWe are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance and Service Technician to join an on-site maintenance team at a student accommodation facility.The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or plumbing background, alongside a recognised trade qualification to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Candidates from other relevant trades, including HVAC, electrical and carpentry, will also be considered.This is a static-site position offering consistent weekday working hours, a competitive salary, a company vehicle and additional payments for on-call duties.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will undertake a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, including:Delivering planned and reactive maintenance works across the student accommodation site.Responding to maintenance requests during normal working hours and participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota, operating on a one-in-four-week basis.Carrying out quarterly showerhead and hose cleaning in accordance with ACOP L8 requirements, with full training provided.Undertaking monthly temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems.Monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems, fittings and plant rooms.Completing ..... full job details .....
