Afternoon shift, 2-10pm Monday to Friday. The Company Our client is a leading name in several fields of manufacturing, with a major European and UK presence spanning numerous operational plants. As part of the continued growth of the business they are presently a hands on Maintenance Team Leader to provide engineering support and leadership for their operation in Manchester. Job Purpose Provide the on-site engineering maintenance cover required to meet the needs of an expanding business. A time-served engineer able to carry out fault finding and repairs to a range of manufacturing equipment. Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills essential as well as a broad knowledge of all aspects of engineering and site facilities. Ability to plan and oversee maintenance schedules, and lead a team of engineers whilst also being hands on. Duties and responsibilities. Lead a small team of engineers in delivering preventative and corrective maintenance on all production equipment (PPM). Support your team in the diagnosis and rectification of issues promptly to minimise downtime and enhance productivity, being a second line of support and technical expertise.
