Maintenance Team Leader

The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with previous supervisory or people management experience to take responsibility for a small maintenance team and play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and supporting site operations. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities, balancing planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Lead, plan and prioritise maintenance activities across the site. Own and manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. Coordinate an effective response to machinery and equipment breakdowns. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance. Manage maintenance spares and consumables. Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians. Set clear objectives, priorities and expectations for the team. Conduct appraisals, provide feedback and support employee development. Manage performance, attendance and conduct matters. Support recruitment, onboarding and training where required. Build effective working relationships with Production, Engineering, Facilities and Senior Management.
