Maintenance Team Leader / Engineering Team Leader

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader / Engineering Team Leader to join their team. As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be a hands on member of the maintenance team providing leadership and motivation. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritising pro-active and reactive maintenance tasks on a daily basis. You will lead a team of multi-skilled Engineers, including the delegation of work, and monitoring both individual and team performance. Salary: £49,395 + a shift allowance of £3,301 (£52,696 total) Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, days and nights on rotation (average of 42 hours per week) PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: You have a qualification in Engineering, ONC qualified of equivalent (HND / HNC / NVQ Level 3) You are a time served Engineer with a strong technical knowledge in heavy manufacturing Previous experience of leading a team Knowledge of modern Maintenance techniques, Lean Manufacturing and other CI Techniques Exposure to the S, Q, C, P, D (or equivalent) model of communication is desirable, but not essential Experience with Agility Maintenance Planning would be advantageous, but not essential Responsibilities: To operate in line with all HandS Standards and the implementation and adherence to safe working practices in accordance with legislation.
