Maintenance Team Leader

We currently have a requirement to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Team Leader for a high volume manufacturing client near Banbury.

Working across a 3 shift pattern, Mornings, Afternoon and Nights, the Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for providing maintenance and technical support across plant operations in order to achieve departmental goals and business plan targets, whilst supervising the maintenance team on your shift and controlling and ensuring plant parameters and set points, to include Planned Preventative Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.

Holding previous experience in a supervisory/team leader capacity, the Maintenance Team Leader will:

• Possess excellent man-management and leadership skills
• Be biased towards electrical maintenance with solid mechanical capabilities
• Possess experience in Robotics, PLC programming, Inverters, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, AC/DC
• Be required to modify existing PLC code when required.
• Be able to work using your own initiative and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the company.
• Drive and monitor Preventative Maintenance schedules and update system on local CMMS
• Ideally be Time Served Apprenticeship with career progression within high volume manufacturing arena, preferably injection moulding or assembly, FMCG.

The successful candidate will already be operating in a supervisory capacity or has taken initial steps in to leadership role, you will be able to demonstrate high level organisational and communication skills, and lead by example.
