We''re hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of the maintenance and engineering function at our Birkhill site.This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a team of 4 while coordinating external contractors and driving maintenance, reliability and improvement across the site.What You''ll Be DoingYou''ll be responsible for ensuring the site''s plant, equipment and facilities are maintained safely, efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing a team of 4 maintenance engineersManaging and coordinating on-site contractors and external engineering providersPlanning and overseeing planned and reactive maintenanceManaging and improving the site''s PPM programmeLeading engineering projects, including equipment installations, upgrades and site improvementsInvestigating breakdowns and implementing corrective actions to improve reliabilityMonitoring equipment performance and reducing unplanned downtimeEnsuring compliance with Health and Safety and statutory requirementsManaging maintenance costs, contractors, spare parts and engineering purchasingWorking closely with Production, Planning, Quality, HSE, Procurement and Group EngineeringDriving continuous improvement across the maintenance functionMonitoring key maintenance ..... full job details .....
