Maintenance Surveyor - Bristol and ExeterWe are currently working with a client seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to support their property portfolio across Bristol and Exeter. This is a flexible contract opportunity offering an excellent hourly rate and travel expenses.Key DetailsHours: 36 hours per weekRate: 40 per hour (Umbrella)Location: Bristol and Exeter (regional coverage)Contract: Flexible, ongoing opportunityBenefits: Travel allowance and expenses paidThe RoleAs a Maintenance Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard and in line with regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities will include:Carrying out property inspections and condition surveysDiagnosing building defects and specifying remedial worksManaging and monitoring maintenance works on siteInstructing and liaising with contractors and consultantsEnsuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specificationProducing accurate reports, schedules of work, and cost estimatesEnsuring compliance with health and safety and statutory requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Proven experience as a Maintenance Surveyor or similar roleStrong technical knowledge of building construction and maintenanceExperience managing contractors and maintenance programmesExcellent communication and organisational skillsA full UK driving licenceAbility to manage a regional patch ..... full job details .....
