MAINTENANCE SURVEYOR - NORTH LONDONLocation: LondonSalary: £56,679 - £59,662 / CompetitiveJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a Senior Surveyor to provide technical leadership and support to our Responsive Repairs Team. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee repair surveyor workloads, monitor outputs and productivity, and ensure compliance with repair responsibility guidelines. This position involves managing complex building issues, disrepair cases, and contributing to the development of the responsive repairs team.Day-to-day of the role:Lead the diagnosis and delivery of reactive repairs within agreed timescales and quality standards.Analyse complaints and identify trends to improve service delivery.Support the Regional Property Manager and Responsive Repairs Manager in achieving KPIs.Resolve complex building issues and manage disrepair cases.Develop strong relationships with internal and external contractors.Ensure expenditure control aligns with budget provisions.Participate in the Out of Hours rota.Provide monthly reports on team activities.Promote and implement the organisation''s customer experience strategy.Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvement.Calm, confident communicator with a proactive approach to resolving complaints and complex repairs.Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively.Experience in team development and technical diagnosis of building defects.Proficient in SOR, Basket Rates, SCHOTT schedules.Knowledge of collaborative working, cost modelling, budget management, and CDM regulations.Good understanding of health and safety legislation related to repairs.RICS qualified or working towards qualification (or equivalent).Benefits
