About the Role

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with a local Authority in the Surrey / Hampshire / Berkshire area.

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor  to conduct comprehensive surveys of residential properties for our local authority, tio deliver high quality response service to our residents.

You will visit our properties, assess a wide range of repair needs, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues, while ensuring compliance with Awaab’s Law and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed surveys of residential properties to identify and document repair requirements.
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and raising clear, effective works orders
  • Ensure repairs are right first time, reducing repeat visits and complaints
  • Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient resolution of issues.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Maintenance Repairs Surveyor, with a broad understanding of residential property repairs.
  • Striong diagnostic skills and confidence making decisions on site.
  • Knowledge of Awaab’s Law, HHSRS, and its application in social housing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Relevant qualifications or a (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) or experience background on the tools are preferred.
