Maintenance SurveyorLocation: South London - covering Penge and surrounding areasRate: 45 per hourContract: Temporary - OngoingSector: Social Housing / Property ServicesDaniel Owen are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join a busy property services team, covering Penge and the surrounding South London areas.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable Surveyor with experience within social housing, property maintenance or responsive repairs.The RoleAs a Maintenance Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out property inspections and surveys, identifying maintenance requirements and ensuring works are appropriately specified and progressed.Key responsibilities:Carrying out property inspections and maintenance surveys across Penge and surrounding areas.Identifying defects and determining appropriate remedial works.Raising and managing repair and maintenance works.Preparing specifications and schedules of work where required.Monitoring contractors and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.Investigating and reporting on property defects.Liaising with residents, contractors and internal teams.Ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.Maintaining accurate records and providing reports as required.Ensuring all works comply with relevant health and safety, housing and building regulations.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience working as a Maintenance ..... full job details .....
