Maintenance support officer Temporary

Urgent temporary requirement for a a Maintenance Person. We are looking for someone to start asap and who has a enhanced DBS on the update service as this will be working in a care home. Looking for an experienced and personable, reliable worker to handle the day-to-day ''handy person'' tasks, such as receiving deliveries, supporting visiting contractors, and addressing general repairs in the home environment. This includes minor repairs of leaks or furniture, gardening tasks like cleaning, clearing, and cutting grass, as well as weekly fire testing. The home would like someone to work full-time for an initial period of three months, with the potential for extension. In terms of hours. We are considering 8-4 as good working hours and looking at 35hrs per week but will consider up to 40 hrs for someone who meets all the requirements and can come in and prove themselves.
