Maintenance Supervisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor/Senior Plant Engineer to join this leading UK manufacturing company based at its Birmingham site near north of the City Centre.

THE ROLE

Based at this modern plant in Birmingham it is easily-accesible from the Tamworth, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Walsall and surrounding-areas. The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to manage a team of upto 5 technicians to ensure daily maintenance targets are met. Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance planning (TPM/PPM)
• Supervision
• Workload management
• Health and Safety
• OEE Improvements
• Maintenance Support

THE PERSON

In-order to succeed in the role of Maintenance Supervisor you will need to have a mechanical or electrical background (Ideally multiskilled), as well as strong maintenance planning skills. Ideally you will have excellent people skills, with experience in either a senior maintenance role, Maintenance Team Leader, Manager etc. Any manufacturing or production background would be ideal.
