Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday

About the role

We''re recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join our client''s busy and growing team on a permanent basis. Our client is a well-established organisation, and this role will take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance operation on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Duties:

• Allocate tasks, materials and subcontractors effectively to control costs.
• Monitor service delivery to minimise rework, waste and downtime.
• Ensure all works comply with UK H&S legislation and company standards.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are in place and followed.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance teams and contractors to deliver works efficiently.
• Motivate the team, manage performance and deliver against service levels and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement, challenging processes to enhance the customer experience.
• Identify recurring issues and implement improvements to processes and asset performance.
• Support the roll-out of new systems, procedures and ways of working.
• Promote sustainable practices, including energy-efficient repairs and correct system operation.
• Provide cover as required and work collaboratively across teams, including on-call support.
• Respond to emergency callouts and participate in an escalation rota where applicable.

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications required:

• Practical understanding of fire safety, asbestos awareness and water hygiene compliance.
• Strong technical knowledge in a relevant discipline (electrical, plumbing or building services).
• Working knowledge of PPM schedules and reactive maintenance processes.
• Understanding of statutory compliance requirements relevant to the role.
• Ability to supervise works and ensure high standards of quality and safety.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in either Plumbing or Electrical is essential.
