Maintenance Supervisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to coordinate and supervise maintenance activities within a designated plant area, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of all internal and contractor maintenance work.This is a key role supporting operational performance, equipment reliability, and legislative compliance within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.As Maintenance Supervisor, you will act as the primary link between maintenance and production teams, ensuring maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, company policies, and procedures.Coordinating and supervising all mechanical maintenance work within your assigned plant area.Acting as the main point of contact between maintenance and production functions for planned and reactive maintenance activities.Providing technical guidance and support to maintenance trades personnel.Managing and monitoring the performance and quality of work delivered by contractors and internal maintenance teams.Maintaining accurate mechanical asset data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Producing maintenance performance reports and identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.Developing and updating preventative maintenance programmes and ..... full job details .....
