The Royal Ballet and Opera House are currently recruiting a shift leader for their in-house estates team based in Covent Garden. This is a multi-skilled static shift supervisor role, where you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of Engineers and deliver first class services for this prestigious organisation.You will be reporting to an inspirational manager and be given the training to succeed within your role.

In this role you will lead your own team and third-party specialist contractors in the delivery and implementation of the planned preventative and emergency reactive maintenance across Royal Opera House buildings in Covent Garden. This role is a hands-on engineering position and will

include:

Supervising

your own team on shift (4 on 4 off days and

nights) Delivering

operational multi skilled Engineering and Maintenance of all building services within the RBOH

buildings Responsible

for HVAC systems, water services, cooling towers, pumps, calorifiers, chillers and TMVs Providing maintenance for LV/HV systems Managing and issuing Permit to Work paperwork as required Ensure Method statements and risk assessments for all works are completed by the team. Ensure 3rd party subcontractors are supervised and comply with the site requirements and safe working practices. To ensure that all asset data is recorded within the CAFM system and other compliance systems. Within this role you will be working days and nights, 4 days on, 4 days off, 7-7.

For this Maintenance Shift Supervisor role based in Covent Garden, we are looking for:

A full apprenticeship qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with an NVQ/ City and Guilds level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Mechanical degree or Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th

edition Significant

multi skilled experience of building services maintenance within large complex public

buildings Experience

of being responsible for engineers and contractors on site Experience of working in a continental shift role previously Good working knowledge of statutory compliance within a medium to large, diverse, and complex estate.
