Maintenance Shift Engineer

The maintenance engineers’ primary responsibility is tomaintain a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. You will need tobe reliable, hardworking, and able to work flexible hours, including weekendsand out-of-hours emergency call-outs.MainResponsibilities:Assistin the day-to-day maintenance of the residential flats, including anyfaults or repairs.Plumbing– unblocking drains/toilets, repairing/replacing taps, etc.Minorelectrical works – replacing lamps/fittings, sockets, and switches, etc.Carryout Health and Safety tasks, i.e., weekly fire alarm tests, watertemperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, etc.Ensurethat the residential flats are kept to the highest maintenance standards.Respondin a timely manner to all maintenance requests and concerns raised byresidents and team members according to the company''s reporting procedure.PersonSpecification:Previousexperience in residential maintenance or similar settings.Abilityto work alone or as part of a team.Knowledgeof Health and Safety in the workplace.Goodproblem-solving skills.Cityand Guilds Level 2 in any trade is desired but not essential.What weoffer you:Employeeassistance program.Discountedstays at associated properties.Furtherlearning and training.Careergrowth opportunities.In line withthe requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants mustbe eligible to live and work in the UK or be able to acquire such eligibility.Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part ofthe recruitment ..... full job details .....
