Maintenance Plumber

Your new companyYou will be joining an established trades team at one of the most recognisable organisations in the Edinburgh area. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a maintenance plumber to their facilities and estates team.Your new roleYour duties may include:Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial building plumbing systems.Inspect, repair, and replace pipework, valves, fittings, taps, toilets, urinals, and sanitary ware.Maintain hot and cold water distribution systems across various buildings, residences, sports facilities, and other commercial properties.Assist with diagnosis and rectifying plumbing faults, leaks, blockages, and water pressure issues.Work with other trades (electricians, joiners, painters) on multidisciplinary projects.Provide emergency plumbing repairs when requiredWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will need to be fully qualified as a plumber and be able to provide all relevant paperwork. As this role covers multiple sites across Edinburgh, you will need a UK driving licence and will be given access to a works van where required. Alongside your qualifications, you will be required to provide recent working references and go through a criminal records and convictions declaration. You will also be working from a digital PDA, so you must have a basic understanding of using mobile technology.
