Maintenance Plumber

Job Role: Maintenance Plumber Location: Worksop Contract Length: 6 -12 Months Rate of Pay: Up to 28 per Hour About the Role We are seeking an experienced Plumber to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of plumbing, mechanical building services, and engineering systems within a large, complex operational environment. The role involves ensuring critical plant and equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational while contributing to the delivery of high-quality maintenance services. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and minor installation works. Diagnose and repair faults on plumbing and mechanical systems Support water hygiene programmes, including monitoring and compliance activities. Carry out inspections, testing, and statutory maintenance checks. Assist with maintenance of specialist systems following appropriate training. Liaise with contractors and provide technical advice relating to site services and infrastructure. Complete maintenance records using electronic maintenance management systems. Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with health, safety, and compliance requirements. Participate in an on-call rota and respond to emergency maintenance issues when required. Support apprentices, trainees, and junior colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
