Maintenance Planning Engineer

Responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements and the production of line and base maintenance work packs. Review of maintenance work packs completion prior to aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required.Main responsibilities? Follow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance.? Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a common understanding of maintenance capability and capacity.? Enter technical log utilisation data onto the MIS.? Review of allocated aircraft maintenance status to ensure compliance with the approved maintenance programme.? Preparation and review of maintenance variations.? Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and keep up to date the in-house maintenance planning calendar.? Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft.? Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials.?
