Maintenance General Labour Technician Location: Grove, WantageSalary: £30,000-35,000 per annumContract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract with the potential to become permanent We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Maintenance General Labour Technician to join our Facilities team in Grove, Wantage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience who enjoys a varied role and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and growing environment. Working closely with experienced Maintenance Technicians, you will play a key role in ensuring our buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The position offers exposure to a wide range of maintenance activities, with opportunities to develop skills in areas such as carpentry and plumbing. Key Responsibilities General Maintenance Support Assist Maintenance Technicians with day-to-day maintenance and repair activities. Support painting and decorating projects, including surface preparation, masking, priming, and finishing. Move, assemble, and dismantle furniture and equipment to support office relocations and workspace reconfigurations. Complete routine filter changes on HVAC, water, and air handling systems. Assist with the safe movement, disposal, and management of waste, materials, and debris in line with site procedures.
