Maintenance Person

Handyman Monday to Thursday 8am till 4pm and Friday early finish at 3pm, 30 min lunch break We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and practical Handyman near Pickering and Malton to carry out a variety of general repair, maintenance and improvement tasks to start as soon as possible, role is temporary, but it may lead to permanent. Key Responsibilities Carry out general repairs and maintenance. Complete basic plumbing repairs and installations. Carry out basic electrical tasks where appropriately qualified. Assemble and install shelving, and equipment. Carry out painting, decorating, filling, and finishing work. Repair doors, handles, locks, hinges, cupboards, and fixtures. Carry out general building and repair tasks. Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised. Complete jobs efficiently and to a good standard. Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Requirements Previous handyman or general maintenance experience preferred. Good practical and problem-solving skills. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail. Good communication skills. Own tools are desirable.
