About the Role

Manpower UK is seeking Maintenance Operatives for a 9-day project at a prestige student accommodation in Leicester. This part-time position runs from 26 August to 7 September 2026, with 8-hour shifts daily at up to £15.50 per hour. Based in Leicester city centre, the role involves general upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs and door handles, performing paint touch-ups, and replacing fixtures and fittings. Previous handyman or maintenance experience is essential. Applicants must also pass a basic DBS check. Working hours are yet to be confirmed. This contract offers a clear timeframe and competitive hourly pay for skilled operatives.

Manpower are recruiting for maintenance operatives for a 9 day project for our client in Leicester.
Our client is a prestige student accommodation based in Leicester city centre who are needing general maintenance operatives to work from 26.08.26 - 07.09.26 8 hours per day £15.50 per hour.
General duties to include changing of fixtures and fittings ie light bulbs, door handles , paint touch ups ect
