Maintenance Operative Salary: From 35,105 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota between 7:30am and 8:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Location: Canary WharfSalter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading residential property operator for a Maintenance Operative to join a busy, high quality living environment in Canary Wharf.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out day-to-day reactive maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, decorating and general building fabric repairsComplete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and routine building checksInspect communal areas, plant rooms and resident spaces, reporting and resolving maintenance issues promptlyWork alongside contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standardMaintain accurate maintenance records using digital reporting systemsSupport compliance with health and safety, fire safety and statutory building requirementsRespond quickly to maintenance issues and emergencies as requiredWork closely with the wider site team to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residentsRequirementsPrevious experience in a facilities, estates or building maintenance roleGood all round maintenance skills, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering and general repairsExperience working within residential, commercial or hospitality environmentsComfortable using tablets or mobile devices to complete maintenance recordsFlexible to ..... full job details .....
