Maintenance Operatives – Student Accommodation

We’re hiring Maintenance Operatives to support a busy student accommodation provider during the summer turnaround period and beyond.

Job Details:

• Pay: £16.50 per hour
  
  
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  
  
• Start Date: 10th August 2025
  
  
• Duration: Ongoing – potential for temp-to-perm
  
  
• Work Locations:
  Operatives will be required to work across all of the following sites:
  
  
  • Holloway Road
    
    
  • Tottenham Hale (two sites)
    
    
  • Seven Sisters
    
    
  • Caledonian Road
    
    

• General maintenance and repairs following student check-outs
  
  
• Basic plumbing tasks (no qualifications required)
  
  
• Painting and decorating
  
  
• Room preparation and turnover
  
  
• Ensuring spaces are safe, clean, and ready for new tenants
  
  

• Experience with general maintenance and basic plumbing
  
  
• Safety boots and workwear (cargo trousers) are required
  
  
• Having your own basic tools is an advantage
  
  
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  
  
• Flexibility to move between sites as needed
  
  

• Excellent hourly rate
  
  
• Ongoing work with strong temp-to-perm potential
