Reports to: Facilities Manager
Hours: Full-Time (8.00am-5.00pm)
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom
Salary: £28,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance duties across the depot network, including building upkeep and outdoor area maintenance (e.g., hedge trimming, weeding). Occasional overnight stays may be required.
- Ensure workshop areas are well organised by managing the storage of hire fleet and sales equipment.
- Assist in the movement and loading of equipment, working closely with yard staff and coordinating with internal/external transport teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across workshop and yard environments.
- Support cross-departmental tasks and projects, such as equipment labelling and addressing environmental matters on customer sites.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring vehicles and workspaces remain clean and compliant.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in line with the company’s accredited management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001).
- Proven general maintenance capabilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- CSCS/CPCS/ECS card
- Forklift Licence
- MEWP Licence
- Slinger/Signaller (Banksman) qualification
