We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of our nursing care home, Eltisley Manor. This role is vital in ensuring that the buildings, equipment, and surrounding environments are safe, clean, and in good working order. You will play a key role in providing a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, residents, and staff. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a healthcare, hospital, or care home setting. Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations. Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks and respond to emergencies when necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to interact with patients, staff, and contractors in a professional manner. Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
