Maintenance Operative Static Ongoing temp (£20/hour) North London (N8) Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team on our North London site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure buildings, facilities, and equipment are kept in safe and working order.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and basic electrical workConduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment, identifying and resolving issues where possibleRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergenciesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations at all timesMaintain accurate records of work carried out and materials usedLiaise with external contractors where specialist work is requiredAssist with planned preventative maintenance programmesKeep work areas clean, organised, and safe RequirementsPrevious experience in a maintenance or facilities roleGood practical skills across multiple tradesBasic understanding of health and safety regulationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication skillsFlexible and proactive approach to work DesirableRelevant qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds or NVQ in a related discipline)Experience working in e.g. commercial / residential / industrial environments What you need to do now If you''re interested in this ..... full job details .....
