Maintenance Operative Location: Leeds Salary: £26,139 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time About the Role GIPSIL is looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will support the upkeep, repair and refurbishment of our property portfolio, helping us provide safe, high-quality homes for our tenants. Key Responsibilities Deliver day-to-day reactive and cyclical maintenance across GIPSIL properties Refurbish empty homes to meet Design and Quality standards as directed by the Project Co-ordinator Support the team in bringing leased properties up to Decent Homes standards Carry out a wide range of general property maintenance tasks, including: Basic joinery Plastering Decorating Plumbing Wall tiling Bricklaying Follow work schedules and deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently Contribute to building and refurbishment projects in line with agreed specifications Collect materials and equipment as required and oversee deliveries to site Represent GIPSIL in a professional, courteous manner at all times About You We are looking for someone who: Has proven experience in general maintenance or property refurbishment Possesses a multi-skilled trade background Can work independently and as part of a team Is organised and able to work to deadlines and schedules Has a strong commitment to quality and customer service Holds a full UK driving licence Why Join GIPSIL?
