You will carry out electrical repairs, planned testing and compliance work, supporting the Maintenance Manager and working closely with colleagues and residents. Whether you are tracing a fault, replacing a fitting or completing emergency lighting checks, your attention to safety and detail will help create a well maintained home for our students. Responsibilities: Carry Out Electrical Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults across power, lighting and electrical equipment in student rooms, kitchens, communal areas and amenity spaces. Complete Testing and Inspections: Carry out planned testing, including emergency lighting checks and portable appliance testing, and report any remedial work required. Support Fire Safety: Assist with fire alarm and emergency lighting weekly checks and ensure faults are reported and resolved promptly.
