You''ll be working Part time (25 hrs per week with shifts to be agreed with successful candidate) at Cygnet Adarna House, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. Cygnet Adarna House is our rehabilitation service for men with mental illness and a secondary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Supporting nine men, we provide a homely and community facing environment for individuals who are preparing for community life, but need further support to move to more independent living.Your day-to-day Provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair serviceCarry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting and general building work Maintain plant, services and vehicles in working order Comply with safe working practices and report faulty equipment and potential hazards Travel to other sites and on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal working hoursCheck the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices and fire emergency lightsWe are looking for people who have Experienced in a similar role, or have worked in a self-employed capacity in recent yearsSkilled at DIY and general ..... full job details .....
