Hales Group are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Operative to help maintain cherished spaces of the Town.
 
You will work as part of a dedicated team to keep buildings, amenities, and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and inspect buildings and report defects
• Maintain planters and flower beds
• Litter picking and bin monitoring across different sites
• Regular checks and cleaning of public conveniences and recreational areas
• Weekly inspections of play and skate equipment
• Support grass cutting, signage changes, and minor repairs
• Assist with market setup/close-down.
• Follow Health & Safety and Council policies at all times  

What We''re Looking For:

• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Practical skills in grounds or building maintenance
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Protective clothing and tools provided. Training available.
