Location: Accrington
Pay: andpound;17.00 andndash; andpound;20.00 per hour
Hours: 47.5 per week, Monday to Friday

We are recruiting a Maintenance Operative to join a well-established organisation providing care facilities for young people and vulnerable adults. This is a full-time, permanent role where your work will directly contribute to creating safe, comfortable, and high-quality environments for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across residential care facilities

Completing tasks such as basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general building upkeep

Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Maintaining accurate records of completed work

Requirements:

Proven experience in a maintenance or multi-trade role

Strong practical skills across a range of building and repair tasks

Ability to work independently with a professional approach

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Full UK driving licence desirable

Enhanced DBS check is essential
